ABOUT ME

A Little About Me

Hey there! I've been on a journey as a psychologist for over 15 years, bouncing around the country from vibrant cities like Chicago, Memphis, Santa Barbara, Colorado Springs, and Los Angeles.

In my earlier days, I found my niche working closely with children and teens, conducting neuropsychological assessments and delving into substance abuse counseling within the criminal justice system. As time went on, my path shifted towards supporting adults in penal environments, where I ran programs addressing substance abuse, trauma, and severe mental illnesses.

Now, in my private practice, I wear many hats, conducting a wide range of assessments for agencies and individuals, from bariatric evaluations to forensic assessments. But what truly lights me up is connecting one-on-one with adults ready to embrace change through therapy. My approach is straightforward yet warm, gently nudging you forward to unlock progress and growth.

Beyond my doctorate, I've deepened my expertise with a postdoctoral master's degree in clinical psychopharmacology and specialized training in pet loss and bereavement. As a pet parent myself, I understand the profound impact of losing a furry family member, and I'm here to support you through it, recognizing that pet loss is a significant and valid reason to seek therapy.
